Hello, I'm Radha! I’m a Christchurch (NZ) based illustrator and designer specialising in New Zealand landscape illustrations and minimalist custom portraits. Here at Studio Jay, all custom prints, art prints and baby keepsakes are hand-drawn or created individually by me, and then printed, packaged and sent out to you by - you guessed it - me!

When I'm not designing at my day job or illustrating your customs in my spare time, you’ll find me hiking in the stunning New Zealand mountains or caravaning by my fave remote New Zealand lakes.

I draw inspiration for my landscape pieces from nature. New Zealand is such a stunning country, and each of my landscape pieces is inspired by somewhere I’ve been on holiday, or a special place in my heart. When I’m at one of these locations looking at the landscape, I find myself forming an illustration in my mind, taking in the distinct foliage and flowers in the area. Then I take a quick photo or video to use as reference later.
